Reforming research assessment in social sciences and humanities: A conversation with Michael Ochsner

As part of CoARA's Working Group interview series filmed in Graz, Austria, Dr. Michael Ochsner discusses the importance of strengthening global networks to further advance research assessment reform in the social sciences and humanities.
Dr. Michael Ochsner is the Co-Chair of the CoARA Working Group Global Framework for Research Evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and represents ENRESSH.

In the interview, Michael stresses the need for interaction across CoARA Working Groups and communities, as well as with diverse range stakeholders on a global scale.
"We don't have two independent criteria. One is what researchers think is important and one is what policymakers and funders find is important. We need to link them together."
